This poem I made for my best friend, Liberty Walters and all of my Creative Writing Class' classmates including my best teacher, Ms. Merrel. I was using a rhyme for this poem, and it was about real story, because that day Liberty gave me a christmas present :).
Fluffy
My tropic skin reacts to the climate
The blood inside of my body feels like climb up
The weather has to change and I asked, “Why?”
My body refuses it but I know I have to give a try
This morning I woke up and forced myself to wake up
Mom asked me, “Are you ready to go?” and I said, “Yup!”
I waited the bus in the darn cold morning
Until I saw a yellow innocent bus was coming
Come inside of it and sat alone
I was boring and playing monopoly on my phone
Till I arrived and put my feet on the school ground
Walked to the undescribeable white portable and enjoy the morning’s sound
My hands were crying like a baby,
It was so cold and they needed gloves, maybe.
I opened the portable’s door and saw my friend there.
I said, “Hi,” and I sat on my chair.
She brought something wrapped on her hands and gave it to me
I had no idea what happened but I was happy
I read the letters and I knew what’s going on.
I unwrapped the present and I saw gloves and scarf that I could put on.
I don’t have to be afraid with the morning cold.
Now I have these fluffy warm things that better than a gold.
Thanks to my best friend, Liberty, for giving me these Chrismas present.
I hope God always bless you and put you in a pleasant.
I hope you got what you want from Santa Claus.
Now cheer up guys and Merry Christmas.
